Boo Fest 2018

The Workshop is celebrating Halloween in true family-friendly fashion with their 2nd annual Boo Fest on the lawn! Head over with your kids and pup (in costume!) for the farmers market from 9 AM - 1 PM. The Halloween fun starts at noon in the courtyard! Enjoy morning yoga on the lawn, a dog costume contest, and awesome live entertainment. Come hungry because Workshop is also offering $4 kids meals and trick-or-treating.

Films On The Field - Hocus Pocus

MUSC Health Stadium presents their 3rd annual viewing of the quintessential Halloween film, Hocus Pocus on their 3,000 sq ft. jumbotron. Gates open at 5:30 PM, with the film officially starting at 6:30 PM. They’ll also have food trucks, a full cash bar, and interactive activities like jump castles. The best part? No need to leave Spot at home — leashed dogs are also welcome. BYO lawn chairs and blankets!

Cinnerruption LIVE!- Hocus Pocus

Can’t get enough of Hocus Pocus this year? Lucky for you, Charleston Music Hall is offering a chance to see the film as you’ve never viewed it before. They’ll have three of Charleston's funniest comedians following along with the film and pointing out the comedic awesomeness that makes this movie such a beloved classic. You’ll definitely laugh more than ever! Although children are welcome, this is more of an adults-only event.

Southern Spirits

The South Carolina Aquarium is hosting an after-hours Halloween celebration with some of the best spirits in the south! Costumes are highly encouraged, and an all-inclusive ticket includes entertainment, beer and wine, and samples from Charleston Distilling, Striped Pig, Firefly, and more!

Family Fright Nights

For the past 10 years, families have enjoyed spending the Halloween season at Magnolia Plantation’s Family Fright Nights. This year’s event features games, candy, face painting, balloons, hay maze, costume contests, pony rides, and more! They also have a Spooky Train Ride for those looking for a Halloween adventure (a milder version is available from 6 - 7:30 PM). There’s lots of fun for the whole family!

Trick-or-Treat at the Mall

The annual event at the Citadel Mall gives families and kids an indoor alternative to the traditional trick-or-treating fun by letting kids trick-or-treat throughout the mall! They’ll also have a jump castle, face painting, entertainment, and more. Costumes are required, but masks should be left at home.
